Cookie Policy
Last updated: October 19, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how tarfouss.be uses cookies and similar local storage. We keep this to a minimum. We do not use advertising cookies and we do not use third-party tracking cookies.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies, such as local storage, let a website remember small pieces of information on your device. They can be strictly necessary for the site to work, or they can serve optional purposes such as remembering a preference.
2. Cookies and storage we use
- Session cookie (strictly necessary). We use a session cookie to keep the site working, to maintain a secure login for the administrator, and to protect forms against cross-site request forgery. This cookie is required and cannot be switched off.
- Cookie banner preference (local storage). When you dismiss the cookie banner, we store a small flag in your browser so we do not show the banner to you again. This stays in your browser and is not sent to any third party.
- Theme and display preferences (local storage). If you change a visual option, such as the background, we may remember your choice in your browser so the site looks the way you left it.
3. Analytics
We measure how the site is used with our own first-party analytics, stored in our own database. This does not rely on third-party advertising or tracking cookies, and your usage is not shared with advertising networks. For details on what we record, see our Privacy Policy.
4. Third-party services
We self-host our fonts, so loading a page does not send your data to a font provider. Google reCAPTCHA runs only on the private administrator login page, not for normal visitors. We do not embed third-party advertising or social media tracking scripts on the site.
5. Managing cookies
You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. You can block or remove them at any time. Please note that if you block the strictly necessary session cookie, parts of the site, including the login and secure forms, may not work correctly.
6. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page.
