What this encoder / decoder does
This is a fast, client-side encoder and decoder for the formats you run into every day in web, dev and security work: Base64 (standard and URL-safe), URL percent-encoding, Hex, HTML entities, Binary, Base32, ROT13, Unicode escapes, and JWT decoding. Encode one way or decode the other, with a single click to copy the result.
Auto detection
Not sure what you are looking at? Choose Auto detect, paste the string, and the tool inspects it, spotting a JWT, a Base64 blob, URL-encoded text, a hex dump, binary, or HTML entities, then decodes it and tells you which format it matched.
Decode a JWT
Paste a JSON Web Token and the decoder splits it into header and payload, pretty-prints the JSON, and surfaces the exp (expiry) and iat (issued-at) timestamps so you can see at a glance whether the token is still valid. The signature is shown for reference but not cryptographically verified.
